The Woodwinds Plantation Shutter Blind combines the elegant look of a plantation shutter with the ease and function of a blind. The 2 1/2" "shutter louver" slat provides a clear view through when open and complete light control when closed. The entire line of Woodwinds offer a combination of real wood and advanced engineered materials to provide a lifetime of beauty, performance and extraordinary value. Plantation Shutter Blinds 2 1/2" elliptical design shutter louvers combine the elegance of a plantation shutter with the ease and function of a blind. Plantation ShutterBlinds are made of Woodwinds' exclusive patented technology combination of American Hardwood and engineered thermal polymers that are guaranteed to last a lifetime. Plantation ShutterBlinds are available as a traditional routed or Routeless "no-hole" privacy options. The unique notched design provides a sleek, linear look without distracting rout holes while holding the slats in perfect position.
UV Stable means that the color of the Plantation louvers will stay true year after year. Available in white, off-whites and wood tones.
The lighter weight construction of the Woodwinds requires less wood to manufacture than conventional wood blinds. By using readily available wood industry by-products, all Woodwinds preserves precious natural resources.
Plantation louvers are coated with a scratch resistant polymer so your blinds will look beautiful for a lifetime.
How easy is cleaning? Plantation louvers are polymer coated to repel dust and dirt but blinds are washable if necessary. Woodwinds can be completely submerged if necessary for cleaning.
Please note that blinds less than 13 1/2" wide will not have a lift mechanism and the tilter control will be located in the center of the blind. All Woodwinds blinds 13" to 24" outside mount will have split controls only.
