The 2" slats for this blind are made of authentic basswood which is the desired wood for blinds. It has a steel headrail and requires 3" depth for flush inside mounting. Outside mount flat space required is 2 1/4". This blind has cord controls. The tilt cords are on the left side and the lift cords are on the right side. It has a 3" wood crown valance.
